Sure, everyone has had one of those days when they roll over and hit the alarm for a few more minutes of sleep. That doesn’t mean you have burn-out.

Maybe you have been complaining off and on to a few colleagues about some things at work that bother you. That might not be indicative of burn-out either.

Are you one of those people that have been plotting a way to leave your day job and find work you love for some time without significant results? Yes, not necessarily burn-out, but you may be a perpetual dreamer!

But what about if you have all those symptoms and more?

What about if your job is really killing you? Think that can’t happen?

It is now identified by a code in the ICD,(International Catalog of Diagnosis Codes.)

Burn-out is a slow way to live miserably for the rest of your working life.

Burn-out is not a condition involving a specific occupation or job description. Burn-out occurs as much with lawyers as with mechanics and as much with teachers as with trash collectors.
