The worst is trying to discern the information about sizing that would baffle even a mathmatic wizard and for the record, I've left cold weather for the South and I agree, we don't do shoe or boots so when I head back up North to visit, I have to address clothing calamaties as well. My husband who is used to wearing flipflops year round, has to be reminded, " You will have to wear real shoes!"
